About Prophouse
Prophouse was started in 2020 to collect some of the work and services of Micke Askernäs.
Micke is based in Stockholm, and in addition to a career as an actor, a filmmaker, a corporate entertainer as a mentalist and mind reader, he also started building props.
It all started with building a fully functioning replica of R2-D2 almost a decade ago. Since then, the projects have been a key point of focus in Micke’s life, and building things was the thing Micke needed to be able to focus on other things and get some mental release now and then when his daughter, Emma, was diagnosed with brain cancer in 2016.
Since then, Micke has been building replica of Star Wars Robots, both R2-D2 and BB-8, Electronic versions of the Voight-Kampff test from Blade Runner, Several Proton Packs from Ghostbusters, a complete “Dark Helmet” costume, he’s working on a Robocop costume as well as numerous other projects for various magician friends.
Micke has been 3d designing sets for Fisher Price commercials, building props for his fellow magician friends and also had his R2-D2 featured in a Swedish comedy series.
